  • A second half hat trick from Michael Bulmer his 3rd hat trick in 3 games secured the points for Sunderland Oddies and conceding a goal in the first half

WASHINGTON AFC

  • Hartlepool attacked Washington from the start with 4 good chances in the opening 9 minutes of the game including hitting the post from Dom Laffin.  A minute later they were 1 up with a goal from Laffin.  With washington defending well but Hartlepool guilty of miss a number of clear chances the score remained 1-0 until 35 minutes when Donaghy whipped in a cross which was deflected into the Washington goal to make it 2-0.  After a formation change by Hartlepool adding an extra striker quickly paid off with 3 goals in six minutes by Hammond.  Tom Hickey added the 6th with a shot curled into the top corner of the net.  Washington had Illingworth sent off for violent conduct following Hickey’s goal.  To make matters worse for Washington, Laffin added his second and Hartlepool’s 7th goal and that how it ended.  Man of the match for Hartlepool was Ross Kidson and MOM For Washington was Sean Lewis.

-           Goals from Chris Bewick, Rick Timm, Substitute Adam Baister and 2 from Lee Pearce secured a comfortable win with a consolation goal from Louis Walsh

  • Four goals from Bailes, 2 goals from Kent and a goal apiece from Matthews and Howe secured the win for Coundon

  • Redcar Town started the brighter and took the lead on 6 mins when Richie Playforth flicked Josh Butters cross past Craig Foster in Bishops goal. However the lead lasted just 3 mins when Connor McEvoy curled a 25 yard free kick into the far corner. Redcar restored their lead on 43 minutes when Stuart Poulter turned in the box and fired into the corner of the net. Redcar made changes at half time and increased their lead through Playforth on 53 mins. Ryan Bennions came on  and with his first touch put the game out of Bishops reach and finally Richie Playforth ended the scoring with Redcars 5th and his own 3rd goal of the game.
